Goodmorning everybody!!!
I open this new discussion to gather information about Silent Bass (which I think will be a kind of dual bass :/) I want to know exactly what characteristics IT has, what IT sounds like and if the timbre and more? similar to a double bass, i must a bass !!

If You mean Yamaha SLB300 Silent Bass, IT is an electric double bass (or better, an Electric Upright Bass, EUB).
I do not own IT, I own another EUB, I use IT for practice.
Sound is similar to the acoustic db, of course with an amplifier; IT is the same size and has the same strings, so from fingering point of view I find IT very useful, and IT is easier to handle, transport and so on.
But sound of the real double bass is warmer and more elegant.
