ragazzi ho preso l empress bass compressor da un noto negozio di strumenti musicali su internet
ho notato che quando l accendo e lo spengo mentre suono si sente il click dello switch
se lo accendo o lo spengo senza suonare tutto ok
volevo sapere se è normale da chi ce l ha perchè ho 30 giorni per mandarlo indietro, in caso me lo faccio cambiare

"si sente" nel senso che esce il rumore anche dalle casse?
Prova a contattare il venditore ma nel dubbio me lo farei cambiare, se si sente anche "da fuori" mi sembra quantomeno fastidioso..

eccomi qua
nel dubbio come diceva cilli l ho rimandato indietro
si sentiva dall ampli il rumore dello switch
se accendevo e spegnevo il pedale mentre suonavo si sentiva molto se lo facevo mentre non suonavo meno
in realtà io lo userò sempre acceso quindi non era un vero problema se lo avessi pagato 50 euro ma visto che costa 270 non lo accetto
ora sono indeciso se tenermi i soldi o se provere ad acquistarne un altro
nel frattempo ho mandato una mail alla empress per chiedere se è normale e tutti fanno così o se era solo quello che mi hanno mandato

Lerio, spesso può dipendere dall'impianto elettrico... andava provato in contesti diversi (casa, saletta, locale, palco)

No worries. Unfortunately, since I can't hear much past the physical sound of the footswitch in your video, I can't definitively say whether or not there's a normal amount of switching noise on the audio signal. However, in general, our Compressor Bass pedals should not produce any excessively noticeable pops or similar noises when engaged.

The only exception would be with certain extreme settings (unlike what you appeared to have the pedal set to in the clip), and that is more a result of the bypassed audio suddenly becoming heavily compressed with a fast attack (as opposed to any issues with the bypass footswitch or relay circuitry). Slight adjustments to the settings typically prevent this specific type of pop from occurring.
