STICK CAMP: THE MEETING UNDER A STARRY SKY.

How to describe the most memorable, historic and inspiring meeting Stick that I have ever lived?
I'll try in 5 points:
1—Magic. The meeting of about 40 people from different parts of the world, in a natural place with music every night, beach, friendship and holiday, was full of magic that was created by the musicians themselves. Although there was an organization of work, each of the moments were the result of the interaction of people, their emotions and desire to share their experiences.
2—Music. From a specific time of the meeting, all the musicians spontaneously created duos, trios and Stick ensemble. Walking through the camp was to find musicians working groups under the trees, others beside the pool and others working online with Emmett Chapman. Every night offered not only solo concerts but ensembles were created in the afternoon of the same day.
3—Friendship. Every day the bonds of friendship grew between us. The last day we finished singing (yes, singing!) spontaneously a song under the starry sky of the island. 4—Inspiration. What moves music are not the chords, not technical, IT is not the practice. IT is the inspiration as a key driver of a musician to express himself. This was what happened in 2015 Stick Camp.
5—Future. I am convinced that the Stick Camp are the future of the Stick meetings anywhere in the world. The recent event has motivated future plans for Canada, England and Italy. If this occurs, we can remember one day we were the promoters of an idea where the music, people and nature join together at one time!

STICK CAMP: EL ENCUENTRO BAJO LAS ESTRELLAS.
¿Cómo describir el más inolvidable, histórico e inspirador encuentro de Stick que jamas haya vivido?
Lo intentare en 5 puntos:
1—Magia. El encuentro de casi 40 personas de diferentes partes del mundo, en un entorno natural con música cada noche, playa, amistad y vacaciones estuvo teñido de magia que fue creada por los propios músicos. Si bien había una organización de trabajo, cada uno de los momentos vividos fueron el resultado de la interacción de las personas, de sus emociones y ganas de compartir sus experiencias.
2—Música. A partir de un momento especifico del encuentro, todos los músicos crearon espontáneamente duos, trios y ensamble de stickistas. Caminar por el camp era encontrar grupos de músicos trabajando bajo los arboles, otros al lado de la piscina, otros trabajando online con Emmett Chapman. Cada noche ofrecimos conciertos no solo de solistas sino de ensambles que se habían creado a la tarde del mismo día.
3—Amistad. Cada día los lazos de amistad crecían entre nosotros. El ultimo día lo terminamos cantando (si, cantando!) espontáneamente una canción bajo el cielo estrellado de la isla. No existe ninguna organigrama o “plan de trabajo” en el mundo que pueda intentar crear semejante unión entre las personas. https://youtu.be/ZU8waSSbjQU
4—Inspiración. Lo que mueve a la musica no son los acordes, no es la técnica. Es la inspiración como motor fundamental de la música. Esto fue lo que ocurrió en Stick Camp 2015.
5—Futuro. Estoy convencido que los Stick Camp son el futuro de los encuentros de Stick en cualquier parte del mundo. El reciente evento ha motivado futuros planes para Canadá, Inglaterra e Italia. Si esto llegara a ocurrir, podremos recordar algún día que fuimos los impulsores de una idea donde la musica, las personas y la naturaleza se unen en un solo momento!
