Il bassista degli Helloween ha usato in qualche video, non so se in album o live, un Tele Bass con singlecoli al ponte e uno split fra i due.
Molto bello esteticamente.

Ciao ragazzi,

innanzitutto vi ringrazio per l'aiuto. La mia ignoranza nel metal ? tale che davvero non riuscivo a trovare qualche video decente dove fosse in vista un classico fender jazz passivo.

Poi ringrazio chi ha riportato alla mia memoria i mitici Helloween. Insieme agli Iron Maiden era l'unico gruppo vicino al metal che ascoltavo ben 10 anni fa, e vedere quel video mi ha riportato alla memoria un mitico passato fatto di capigliature improponibili, chitarre elettriche che pi? brutte mai pi? vedr?, assoli estenuanti, abbigliamenti discutibili e tanta tanta energia. FANTASTICO!

Per i gruppi tipo psycofarmac,aerofagyst e lurid fegats, non faccio commenti. L'arte vive di chi l'apprezza, il resto ? fuffa. Ricordo ancora la mia tesina del liceo, che tra i vari argomenti trattava anche Piero Manzoni, che ci ha deliziati con la sua "Merda d'artista"

Io ho sempre suonato JB in tutti i contesti. Ci ho fatto cinque dischi tra heavy-metal e death-metal con il JB e tutti i live

Di Giorgi nei suoi album con i Death e con i Sadus usava un fender jazz fretless, mi pare di aver letto sul suo vecchio Sito un intervista, all'ora alternava un rick e un jazz bass con una tastiera in ebano (a dire il vero aveva i pick up PJ e non credo che nel 93, gi? ci fosse il tony franklyn, per? lui ha assicurato che era un fender) e ti confermo il suo utilizzo in Individual Trought Patterns del 92 con i Death

1991 Fully Custom Homemade Fender-Like Fretless
This was a weird project that should've never turned out the way IT did. I had this old Fender Precision copy bass and I took IT completely apart. I got a fretless neck made from maple with ebony fretboard right from Fender. IT's a jazz neck as far as the spec's go. I put passive Bartolini's in IT, including digging away for the J pick-up. Also I installed a BadAss Bass II Bridge, the brass one. A cool cut to the pick-guard for easy access to the truss rod for the ever-slinky neck, and IT was fully customized.
For fun I broke IT out to record Autopsy's Fiend For Blood, and IT ended up sounded really cool in the studio. So I decided to use IT on a few tunes while recording A Vision Of Misery (Machines, First half of Deceptive Perceptions and the solo in Echoes Of Forever).
IT was more of a novelty for metal back then even though IT was the main bass I used for Dark Hall. But then in the studio while recording Individual Thought Patterns IT turned in to the "frog" and IT had to be the only one.
After the tours for Individual with Death IT ended up in the retirement hall as well. And no, this one won't be broken out anymore.

In pratica solo il manico sarebbe Fender (anche se quella decal...)
